PhuongDuy Tran

Community Preservation Committee Member

PhuongDuy Tran is a first generation Vietnamese- American, born in a refugee camp in the Philippines, grew up in Cape Cod, and now residing in East Boston.

Day-to-day, she is a Programs Manager for the the Rose Kennedy Greenway, a contemporary linear park stretching through the heart of Boston from Chinatown to the North End. In this role, she collaborates with diverse local organizers to activate green space with fun events, festivals, and performances that are free and accessible for all to enjoy. PhuongDuy is passionate about food, culture, and creating open space environments that reflects the communities it serves. Aside from the Community Preservation Committee, she is also a member of the City Parks Alliance, The Chinatown Coalition, and the Boston Harbor Women of Color Coalition.
