BPS Sundays

Our program provides Boston Public Schools students and their families free access to the City's world-class cultural institutions through August 2024.

At her 2024 State of the City address, Mayor Michelle Wu announced an extraordinary partnership between the City, Boston Public Schools and six of our City’s leading cultural institutions to help BPS students feel at home in places that can expand their learning and show them the world.

From February through August 2024, on the first and second Sunday of each month BPS students and up to three of their family members will be able to visit these amazing cultural institutions free of charge:

Entry Process

Each BPS student can bring up to three family members on free admission days. Boston Public Schools will send weekly emails with a pass to the primary parent/caregiver email address listed in ASPEN.

To gain entry to a participating institution, a BPS student can:

  • Show their BPS-issued student transportation card,
  • print out the weekly email and turn it in, or
  • show the weekly email on a mobile device

This is the student's personal entry pass and cannot be transferred to another person.

Institutions frequently reach capacity, so families are encouraged to pre-register and reserve tickets online, and ensure that their email address is updated in the BPS system.
