Before you get started
We protect public art on City property and have a collection of more than 500 pieces. We can give you a digital print or scan of a piece for educational, commercial, or personal use. Please keep in mind:
- You can't copy any images unless you have written permission from us. We only give permission for one-time, non-exclusive use.
- If you copy the print without permission, we may charge you more money.
- You have to give us credit if you want to use the print for an exhibit, publication, or broadcast.
- If you're a student, you don't need to pay the fee. You only need a letter of permission for a dissertation, thesis, or presentation.
Digital prints and scans often have a fee. We created a page to give you an idea about how much the fees could cost.
Send us your request
Go to our online request form and tell us how you plan to use the print or scan. Make sure to tell us the format you want for your image.
We will send you an email after we get your request. We'll also give you an estimate for how much you'll need to pay for the image. You need to send us the payment before we give you the print.
