BCYF Nazzaro

BCYF Nazzaro programs include arts and crafts, bowling, and an after-school program.

Looking for an indoor rock climbing wall, after school program, computer lab, dance studio, teen center, indoor track, summer program, indoor or outdoor swimming pool, or recording studio? BCYF Nazzaro member spotlight

BCYF_NicholasRyanShea.jpg

Meet Nicholas Ryan Shea, current West End resident, former North End resident, and lifelong BCYF Nazzaro Community Center member.

Nicholas enlisted in the Army and is currently in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, undergoing his ten-week basic combat training. A graduate of the Eliot Elementary School and East Boston High School, Nicholas has qualified to train as a Blackhawk helicopter mechanic. He will spend 18 weeks at Fort Eustis, Virginia, learning that trade. Nicholas wants to serve his country and is taking action towards that goal. It's a very admirable stand that his BCYF Nazzaro Center family supports and is proud of.

Throughout his childhood and early adulthood, Nicholas was a full-fledged participant in all things BCYF Nazzaro including Small Fry and Knights basketball, NEAA baseball, the Nazzaro Band, and the ski program. He was also was employed at the center in both the after school and SuccessLink Mayor's Summer Jobs Program.  As recently as this past summer, he was a lifeguard at the BCYF Mirabella Pool.
