BCYF Vacation Week Activities

Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF) community centers host programs and events during school vacation weeks.

Please contact your local BCYF center for more information or to sign up for any programs. We'll be continuing to add activities as they get scheduled, so remember to check back on this page!

February 2019 Vacation Week Activities

Friday, February 22, 2019
  • Girl's Dance Performance: 6 - 8 p.m., FREE
  • Teen Movie Night, 6 - 8:30 p.m., FREE, ages: 12-17

Additional activities are offered throughout the week. Please contact the center for details:

Vacation Week Sports Program
  • Tuesday - Friday, from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. For youth ages 6 - 12.
  • We will have bowling, bubble soccer, art classes, and a pool party.
  • Cost is $85 for the week.
3-on-3 basketball tournament
  • Thursday and Friday, from 6 - 9 p.m. For youth ages 12 - 15.
  • Double elimination tournament.
  • Cost is $10 per player and includes team T-shirts.
Youth Field Trips
  • Wednesday - BeanStalk Adventure Ropes Course
  • Thursday - Lasertag
  • Friday - SkyZone.
  • For youth ages 12 - 15.
  • Cost is $15 per trip or all 3 days for $25.
Movie night
  • Fences, Wednesday, 6 – 8 p.m., free

Black History Month Basketball Tournament
  • Ages 13 and under 
  • Thursday, February 21 - Saturday, February 23 (school vacation week)
  • Registration fee: $100 per team (money order only)
  • First eight teams to register will participate
  • All teams must present a famous black history quote on a poster
  • Teams must bring same color jerseys or T-shirts
  • Teams must register by Friday, February 8

School Aged Child Care

Full-day out of school time programming during the February School vacation week. This EEC-licensed program serves children in Kindergarten, ages 4-5, and school-aged children, 6-12.

  • Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., $205 for the week.

Tiny Tots Program

New! BCYF Roslindale will offer its EEC-Licensed Tiny Tots program Tuesday through Friday during the school vacation week.  This program serves children 2.9 years through Kindergarten age from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. The fee is $30 per day. Please call at 617-635-5185 for information about registration.
