Schools shift to all remote learning

Due to a rising COVID-19 infection rate in the City, all Boston Public Schools students will shift to remote learning effective Thursday, October 22.
City department hours

City Hall is open to the public on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. If you need to visit a department, you must make an appointment.

Census and Redistricting

We aim to improve voter participation and make changes in the City based on the annual census.

Our committee works on efforts related to the redistricting, including:

  • City Council districts
  • United States Census
  • community outreach and participation, and
  • choosing technology to help support City Council redistricting efforts.
