Cathy Baker-Eclipse is the CPC representative from the Boston Parks Commission and the head of the Boston Parks and Recreation Department. She is a landscape architect with over 25 years of experience in the public and private sectors. She finds purpose in the work to improve the quality and access to open space for all residents.

Cathy was previously the Director of Design and Construction for Boston Parks, overseeing open space capital projects across the city. She was previously a project manager in the Department on a broad range of park types - from pocket playgrounds in Chinatown to master plans of 45 acre recreation facilities in Dorchester. She managed projects to protect the waterfront from the effects of sea level rise, neighborhood playground replacements, and multiphase park renovations.

Cathy lives in Roslindale with her family. In her free time she enjoys knitting, visiting new places, and making lists.
