Zaida Adames is a native of Puerto Rico and has been residing in East Boston for the last 30 years. In her role as Outreach Worker for Mutual Aid Eastie, she works with primarily with the immigrant community who are facing many injustices. As a domestic violence survivor who raised three children and experienced homelessness, she is passionate to serve others in the same way she was helped during her time of need.  Zaida fights for justice and empowers families, especially woman, to be their own advocates.
