Tyshaun is a native of Boston. He is a Certified Addictions Recovery Coach at BMC. Through a grant sponsored by the Office of Minority Health, Tyshaun worked with Project Recover to demonstrate that Recovery Coaches are effective in breaking barriers to treatment and healthcare services as it relates to racial disparities for Black and Latinx communities. He endeavors to continue to break barriers in racial disparities in health care.
