Everyone in Boston deserves safe streets. We have a bold plan for transforming Boston's streets to better serve people walking, rolling, and riding bikes. Over the next three years, we will expand our bike network so that 50% of residents will be a 3-minute walk from a safe and connected bike route. Read more about our plan.

SPARK's signature fireside chat series, Chief Chats, returns for conversations with a whole new generation of leaders. Mayor Wu is the City of Boston's first millennial mayor, and her cabinet leadership is the most diverse (and youngest!) in our municipality's history. It's only fitting then that we restart this series by introducing you to Boston's Chief of Equity & Inclusion, Mariangely Solis Cervera! Join Chief Solis Cervera, a moderator, and several dozen of your neighbors for a discussion about the Chief's journey to leadership and the Equity & Inclusion Cabinet, which includes the Offices of Immigrant Advancement, LGBTQ+ Advancement, Black Male Advancement, Language and Communications Access, and Fair Housing and Equity.

The conversation will kick off at 6 p.m. sharp, but light refreshments will be available starting at 5:30 in the Community Room of the Jamaica Plain Branch Library. Please join us for this chance to learn more about our City's government and ask its leadership questions directly!
