Event calendar: Marking Black History Month in Boston

A look at events happening in Boston to mark Black History Month. 

Mayor Martin J. Walsh, the City of Boston's Black Employee Network also known as BEN, and the entire City of Boston kicked off a month-long celebration in honor of Black History Month. During the month of February, there will be special events hosted around Boston celebrating the accomplishments and contributions of the Black community, acknowledging Black leaders, activists and trailblazers who fought so hard for diversity, equality and inclusion.
