Fiscal Year 2021 budget process has officially begun

As required by the City Charter, Mayor Walsh must transmit each year’s budget to the City Council on the second Wednesday of April.

This week, all of the Dockets that make up the City's Operating Budget, Schools Budget, and Capital Budget were officially read into the record, and Council hearings hosted by the Ways & Means Committee are scheduled to begin on Monday, April 13th.

To make the process as clear as possible, please take a moment to get familiar with the new City Council’s Budget Process page. Here you can find information regarding public testimony hearings dates, record your videos in advance and read testimonies received.

Follow along with all hearings and working sessions on City Council TV. The City Council's Budget Process page will be updated frequently. Stay tuned!
