HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH AIDS (HOPWA)

The City of Boston Mayor’s Office of Housing (MOH) hereby invites proposals from non-profit organizations and units of local government that provide housing and/or housing-related supportive services to households of persons with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) for the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) program in the following service categories: 

 

Housing Information Services

  • Housing-Related Supportive Services 
  • Permanent Housing Placement (PHP)
  • Short-Term Rent, Mortgage and Utilities Assistance (STRMU)
  • Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA)
  • The RFP package will be available beginning April 7, 2025, from the City’s purchasing website, Supplier Portal (boston.gov/Procurement). Completed proposals must be submitted, as specified, *electronically by May 9, 2025, no later than 4:00 PM. 

One optional Applicants’ Conference will be held by video conference on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 @ 11 AM. Attendance is not mandatory but is highly encouraged. Please email Kiarah.Perdomenico@boston.gov at least one business day in advance for the link to join the office hours.
