At the request of the Public Improvement Commission staff, the Acceptance of the Minutes of the PIC hearing held on July 31, 2025.

Utility Pole Hearing

On a petition by Verizon for a Utility Pole Installation to install one new private utility pole with a guy wire attachment within Nazing Street, Roxbury, to be located on its northeasterly side at address no. 35, generally between Blue Hill Avenue and Maple Street.

Public Hearing

On a petition by the Turquoise Way abutters for a Street Name Change, renaming the entirety of Turquoise Way (public way), Roxbury, located between McGreevey Way and Smith Street, to be formally known in the future as Pauline Bennett Way.  (NB 7/31/2025)

On a petition by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation for the making of Specific Repairs within the following public ways in Dorchester and Hyde Park:

• Edgewater Drive – generally between Mattakeeset Street and Topalian Street;
• Mattakeeset Street – at Edgewater Drive;
• Wachusett Street – at its southeasterly terminus south of River Street;
• Malta Street – at Edgewater Drive;
• Topalian Street – at Edgewater Drive.
