    Request for the removal of three (3) public shade trees at 151 Cambridge St in order to accommodate the demolition of the existing West End branch of the Boston Public Library and the redevelopment of the parcel which includes 119-units of affordable housing and a new, two-story, West End Boston Public Library branch. The following trees are being requested for removal. Three (3) Linden trees measuring 20 inches DBH (diameter at breast height), 20 inches DBH and 21 Inches DBH.

    The hearing will be held by the City of Boston’s Tree Warden (or designee) remotely on Thursday, September 11, at 10 a.m. via Zoom.

    Public comments, questions or objections to the removal of these trees must be submitted in writing prior to or during the hearing to the Tree Warden, Boston Parks and Recreation Department, 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, 3rd floor, Roxbury, MA 02118 or by emailing trees@boston.gov with “Cambridge St Tree Hearing” in the subject line.
