The 2030 Climate Action Plan (CAP) outlines Boston's 2026–2030 roadmap to cut community-wide carbon emissions by 50% in 2030 and 100% by 2050. The CAP also seeks to improve climate resilience, and ensure all residents benefit from climate action — through clean air, healthy homes, and green spaces. Centered on climate justice, Boston’s climate action seeks to amplify the voices of communities most affected by climate change and set a course toward a healthier, more just, and climate-ready future.
