 ¡Oportunidad de Empleo!

We know that different populations of older adults get their information in different ways. We also know that many older adults don’t speak English or may be part of an under-served community, which may result in barriers to learning about programs and services.

We’re hiring 15 part-time Boston residents to serve as Age Strong Community Ambassadors. Ambassadors will help build bridges with under-connected aging communities by making connections, sharing information, and making sure older adults get the resources and benefits they are eligible for.

Ambassadors will act as a bridge between Age Strong and under-connected aging communities by making connections and building trust.

Ambassadors will be hired in 3 groups of 5. We are currently recruiting for the first group: five older adult Boston residents with deep connections to the following communities: Latinx, LGBTQIA+, Chinese, Somali, and Cabo Verdean.

Ambassadors will be paid $25 per hour and work 10 hours per week. Ambassadors may host convenings and conversations, attend neighborhood meetings, make connections, and strengthen relationships. Age Strong will provide training.
