BOSTON URBAN WILDS STRATEGIC PLAN
The City of Boston, acting by the Environment Department, 1 City Hall Square, Boston, MA ,02201 hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites proposals for the project listed above. Working in partnership with two City departments (Parks and Environment), the selected team will develop a structured and actionable plan for strategic and sustainable growth of the Urban Wilds Program, including best practices for program and resource management, staffing and budget structures, land acquisition and restoration processes, and branding and program awareness. The planning process will involve evaluation of the current program, research on national best practices for urban natural areas management and developing recommendations to support the Urban Wilds Program.
Proposals will be solicited from vendors through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal: boston.gov/departments/procurement. The request for proposal will be live on December 1, 2025, at 9:00am.
All proposals for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: Boston Urban Wilds Strategic Plan.
Proposals shall be submitted before 5:00 P.M., Boston time, Wednesday, January 7, 2026, and opened forthwith.
