DISPOSAL FOR TRASH & RECYCLING FOR BOSTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS

The City of Boston, acting by the Planning & Engineering/Office of Facilities Management, 1216 Dorchester Ave., 2nd floor, Boston, MA 02125, hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, requests proposals for the project listed above. 

Proposals will be solicited from interested vendors through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal: boston.gov/departments/procurement

All proposals for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: RFP Collection, Hauling, & Disposal for Trash & Recycle for Boston Public Schools.

Proposals must be submitted before 12:00 P.M., Boston time, Friday, February 27, 2026, and opened forthwith.

The RFP documents will be available on or about Monday, January 26, 2026, after 12:00 P.M., Boston time

Boston Public Schools, acting through its Office of Facilities Management, Planning & Engineering Department at 1216 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, MA 02125 is soliciting proposals for a qualified, responsible contractor to provide reliable, sanitary, and environmentally sound solid waste and recycling collection services that support school operations and City sustainability goals. The term of the contract will be July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2029.
