GENERAL CONTRACTING SERVICES

The City of Boston, acting by the Property Management Department Name, 1 City Hall Plaza, Boston, MA 02201, hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites sealed bids for the project listed above.

Bids will be solicited from interested vendors through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal: boston.gov/departments/procurement. 

All bids for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: General Contracting Services at Boston City Hall and various City of Boston locations.

Bids must be submitted before 12:00 P.M., Boston time, Thursday, April 2, 2026, and opened forthwith.

The IFB documents will be available on or about Monday, March 2, 2026, after 10:00 A.M., Boston time. 

The intent and purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a contract with a qualified contractor to submit bids to provide various general contracting services including, but not limited to carpentry, painting and small repair jobs on an “as needed” basis. Questions are due on March 24, 2026, by 12:00 P.M.
