Tree Removal Hearing: Mission Hill
In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 87, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department will hold a virtual public hearing on a request to remove four (4) public shade trees on 154 Terrace St, Mission Hill.

The request is for the removal of four (4) public shade trees located on 154 Terrace Street, Mission Hill, in order to provide an ADA-compliant sidewalk in front of the proposed 6 story building consisting of 65 rental units. The following trees are being requested for removal:
- One (1) Honeylocust tree measuring 5 inches DBH (diameter at breast height)
- Three (3) Honeylocust trees measuring 4 inches DBH.
The hearing will be held by the City of Boston’s Tree Warden (or designee) remotely on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 10 a.m. via Zoom.

Public comments, questions or objections to the removal of these trees must be submitted in writing prior to or during the hearing to the Tree Warden, Boston Parks and Recreation Department, 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, 3rd floor, Roxbury, MA 02118 or by emailing trees@boston.gov with “Terrace Street Tree Hearing” in the subject line.
