  1. Air Pollution Control Commission Rulemaking

    Notice is hereby given that the Boston Air Pollution Control Commission, under its authority pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 111, Section 31C, is revising the Procedures and Criteria for the Issuance of Parking Freeze Permits to increase uniformity and effectiveness for all three freezes. The revision will expand the annual renewal requirement to Downtown Boston, and unify the administrative procedures and fees.

    A public hearing concerning the revisions will be held in 21 days on September 16, 2020, at 11:30 a.m., through Zoom. If you are unable to access the internet, you can call 1-929-205-6099, enter Meeting ID 686 458 2044 # and use # as your participant ID.

    Written comments will be accepted until 11 a.m. on Monday, September 14, 2020. Written comments must be submitted by email to apcc@boston.gov or by mail to the Air Pollution Con Commission, Boston City Hall, Environment Department, Room 709, 1 City Hall Square, Boston, MA 02201.

    Copies of the proposed regulations are available at the City Clerk’s Office as well as on the Commission’s webpage.
