City Council meeting

The City Council is holding a meeting on June 16 at 12 p.m.

All Council Meetings are held at 12 p.m. (noon) in the Christopher A. Iannella Chamber on the fifth floor of Boston City Hall, unless otherwise noted. All meetings are open to the public and are also available on Xfinity Channel 8, RCN 82, Fios 964, and livestream via City Council TV.

  1. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
  2. COMMUNICATIONS FROM HER HONOR, THE MAYOR:

    0762    Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Thirty Million Ninety Two Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety One Dollars and Thirty Cents ($30,092,991.30) in the form of a grant, Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA2), awarded by the United States Department of Treasury to be administered by the Department of Neighborhood Development. The grant will fund direct financial assistance, including rent, rental arrears, utilities and home energy costs, utilities and home energy costs in arrears and other expenses related to housing.

    0763    Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) in the form of a grant for the 2021 Summer Jobs Fund, awarded by Harvard University to be administered by Youth Engagement & Employment. The grant will fund summer employment and supportive activities for youth.

    0327    Order for a hearing regarding increasing oversight, transparency, and coordination of PILOT community benefit offsets.

    0102    Message and order authorizing and approving the City of Boston Conservation Commission (the "ConCom") to receive a property identified by the City of Boston Assessing Department as 0 Rivermoor Street in West Roxbury neighborhood of Boston with a parcel identification no. 20-09228020 (the " Property"). The property is currently under the care and custody of the Boston Planning and Development Agency (the BPDA) and is located on the banks of the Cow Island Pond area of the Charles River in West Roxbury.

    0103    Message and order for your approval of the receipt of a Preservation Restriction Agreement on the Aldrich House located at 59 Mount Vernon Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02108, by the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities d/b/a Historic New England.

    0389    Message and order for your approval to declare surplus City-Owned former Boston Transportation Department parcels of land and transfer the care, custody, management and control of said property to the Public Facilities Commission.
