    0100: The Committee on Public Safety and Criminal Justice, to which was referred on December 14, 2016 Docket #0100, message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend a grant of Two Million Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($2,250,000.00) from the Massachusetts Department of Fire Services to be administered by the Boston Fire Department. The grant will fund the training needs of the Fire Department including Back to Basics, fitness training, new technologies, new equipment, training videos, EMT Training and Driver Training, submits a report recommending the order ought to pass.

    0101: The Committee on Public Safety and Criminal Justice, to which was referred on December 14, 2016 Docket #0101, message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend a grant of Two Hundred Thirty-Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($237,500.00) awarded by the Department of Fire Services to be administered by the Boston Fire Department. The grant will be used to fund the Boston Fire's HazMat training needs for dangerous chemical and hazardous spills, terrorism alerts and attacks, urban search and rescue and tunnel and trench rescues, submits a report recommending the order ought to pass.

    0102: The Committee on Public Safety and Criminal Justice, to which was referred on December 14, 2016 Docket #0102, message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend a grant of Eighty-Four Thousand Dollars ($84,000.00) for the FY2017 Traffic Enforcement Program, awarded by the United States Department of Transportation passed through the MA Executive Office of Public Safety and Security to be administered by the Police Department. The grant will fund high-visibility enforcement of motor vehicle laws, including but not limited to speeding and aggressive driving, impaired driving and occupant protection, submits a report recommending the order ought to pass.
