    amount of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) in the form of a 
    grant, for the Boston Red Sox Arts Fund, awarded by the Boston Red Sox 
    to be administered by the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture. The grant 
    will fund programs supported by the Boston Cultural Council, with a 
    portion directed specifically to Fenway area groups or artists.

    0800    Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expect the 
    amount of One Hundred Seventy Seven Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty 
    Six Dollars and Thirty One Cents ($177,886.31) in the form of a grant, for 
    the FY22 State Elder Lunch Program, awarded by the MA Executive Office 
    of Elder Affairs to be administered by the Age Strong Commission. The 
    grant will fund nutrition services for older adults in the City of Boston. This 
    award represented additional funding for the program.

    0801    Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the 
    amount of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) in the form of a grant, for 
    the FY22 Safe and Successful Youth Initiative, awarded by the MA 
    Executive Office of Health and Human Services to be administered by the 
    Police Department. The grant will fund a comprehensive, inter agency 
    strategy that connects law enforcement, employment, education, public 
    health and youth development agencies to reduce youth violence in the 
    Commonwealth.

    0802    Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the 
    amount of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) in the form of a grant for 
    two charitable donations, awarded by the Frank R and Elizabeth Simoni 
    Foundation Inc. to be administered by the Police Department. The grant will 
    fund training initiatives for the Homicide and Youth Violence Strike Force 
    Units.

    0803    Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the 
    amount of Six Thousand Four Hundred Sixty Dollars ($6,460.00) in the 
    form of a grant for the Federal FY22 Senior Companion Program, awarded 
    by the Corporation for National and Community Service to be administered 
    by the Age Strong Commission. The grant will fund reimbursement for 
    travel and meals, plus stipends. The supplemental award represents a 
    mandatory increase in the stipend from $3.00 to $3.15 per hour, effective 
    July 1, 2022.

    from the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (SLFRF) in the

    Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA). Pursuant to the requirements of the 
    ARPA, the grant payment would fund COVID 19 response and recovery 
    efforts and accelerate a Green New Deal for Boston through

    health and economic challenges in the areas of affordable housing, 
    economic opportunity and inclusion, behavioral health, climate and 
    mobility, arts and culture and early childhood.
