RE: COVID-19, Temporary Practices

In accordance with Governor Baker's July 14, 2022, Act Extending Certain COVID-19 Measures Adopted During the State of Emergency, with respect to the Open Meeting Law, the Act extends, until March 31, 2023, the remote meeting provisions of the Governor’s March 12, 2020, Executive Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law including the requirement that public bodies conduct its meetings in a public place that is open and physically accessible to the public, the Public Facilities Commission (PFC) will be conducting its meetings virtually. This enables the PFC to conduct its usual business while adhering to public health recommendations and ensuring public access to its deliberations through adequate, alternative means.

These practices in effect since May 11, 2020, will remain in effect until further notice. Updates to these practices will be posted as appropriate.

    FURTHER VOTED: the Director be, and hereby is, authorized to deliver an instrument conveying said property to River Senior Apartments LLC in consideration of One Hundred Dollars ($100).
     

    [1] River Senior Apartments LLC is a Massachusetts limited liability company formed on April 22, 2021, pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 156C Section 12, by principals of Caribbean Integration Community Development Inc. and Planning Office for Urban Affairs, Inc. River Senior Apartments LLC provided a current Certificate of Good Standing from the Massachusetts Secretary of State to MOH. Additionally, River Senior Apartments LLC completed a property affidavit (i.e. LOOPS form) and provided such to MOH.

    FURTHER VOTED: Subject to the approval of the Mayor under St. 1909, c.486, § 31B (as appearing in St. 1966, c.642, § 12) that it is the intent of this Commission to sell the aforementioned property to Ronald Peters and Siobhan Peters;
     
    AND, FURTHER, VOTED: That the Director be, and hereby is, authorized to advertise the intent of this Commission to sell the above described property in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 642 of the Acts of 1966 and the applicable statutory terms of M.G.L. c.30B, section 16.
