All weekly City Council meetings are held at 12 p.m. (noon) in the Christopher A. Iannella Chamber on the fifth floor of Boston City Hall, unless otherwise noted.

  2. COMMUNICATIONS FROM HER HONOR, THE MAYOR:

    0963    Message and order for your approval an Order to reduce the FY23 

        appropriation for the Reserve for Collective Bargaining by Eighty Five 

        Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($85,600.00) to provide funding for the 

        Boston Public Health Commission for the FY23 increases contained within 

        the collective bargaining agreements between the Boston Public Health 

        Commission and the SENA. Local 9158.

        0964    Message and order for your approval a supplemental appropriation Order 

        for the Public Health Commission for FY23 in the amount of Eighty Five 

        Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($85,600.00) to cover the FY23 cost items 

        contained within the collective bargaining agreement between the Boston 

        Public Health Commission and SENA, Local 9158. The terms of the 

        contracts are October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2022 and October 1, 

        2022 through September 30, 2025. The major provisions of the contracts 

        include base wage increases of 1.5% in January of 2022, 2% in January 

        2023, 2% in January 2024, and 2% in January 2025. The agreements also 

        contain other benefits including increased hazardous duty differentials.

        for the Parks and Recreation Department for FY23 in the amount of 

        Thirty Two Three Hundred Thirty Four Dollars ($32,334.00) to cover the 

        FY23 cost contained within the collective bargaining agreements between 

        the City of Boston and the Boston Park Rangers’ Association. The terms of 

        the contract are July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2023. The major provisions 

        of the contract include base wage increases of 2%, 1.5% and 2%, to be 

        given in October of each fiscal year of the contract term.

        0967    Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend an 

        amount not to exceed One Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars 

        ($1,600,000.00) in the form of a grant from the Federal Emergency 

        Management Agency grant pass through the United Way Worldwide to be 

        administered by the Mayor’s Office of Housing. The grant will fund 

        humanitarian services for individuals and families encountered by the 

        Department of Homeland Security at the Southern border, through the 

        Emergency Food and Shelter Program.

        0968    Message and order authorizing the City of Boston through its Property 

        Management Department to accept the equipment itemized in the attached 

        order that is being donated from the Boston Planning and Redevelopment 

        Agency (BPDA).The BPDA is vacating its space at 22 Drydock Avenue, 

        Boston, MA 02210 and it no longer has any need of the equipment.

        0969    Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the 

        amount of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) in the form of a grant, for 

        the development of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training for CERT 

        programs within the region, awarded by the United States Department of 

        Homeland Security, passed through the Massachusetts Emergency 

        Management Agency, to be administered by the Mayor's Office of 

        Emergency Management. The grant will fund FY22 HSGP Citizen Corp. 

        Program (CCP).
