    Time and Date:

    Friday, March 22, 20249:00 a.m., opening of the ballot packets to segregate Democratic, Republican and Libertarian Party ballots from each of the 73 precincts that make up the Second Suffolk Senate District and blocking those ballots into groups of 50. This process will continue until all ballots are segregated. (No ballots will be recounted during this process)

    Saturday, March 23, 20249:00 a.m., the Recount Session will begin promptly at 9:00 am. The Recount Sessions will be held in the same location, in the Haymarket Room and the surrounding area in City Hall, located on the Second Floor at 1 City Hall Square in Boston, Massachusetts. 

    Sunday, March 24, 20249:00a.m., the Recount Session will continue promptly at 9:00 am. The Recount Sessions will be held in the same location, in the Haymarket Room and the surrounding area in City Hall, located on the Second Floor at 1 City Hall Square in Boston, Massachusetts.

    The Election Commission will recess at the end of each evening if the recount does not become final at the conclusion of each day.
