A vote to accept for park preservation purposes, parcels at 43 and 45 Danube Street in Roxbury as follows: The Parks and Recreation Commission, on behalf of the City of Boston, for the purposes of providing a park in accordance with Article 97 of the Amendments to the Massachusetts Constitution, hereby authorizes the acceptance, inclusive of trees in accordance with a deed of the parcels of open land located at 43 and 45 Danube Street in the Roxbury neighborhood, consisting of 6,822 square feet (0.16 acres) of land identified in the records of the Assessing Department as Parcel 1300478000 and Parcel 1300479000, being transferred from the Mayor’s Office of Housing pursuant to a vote of the Boston Public Facilities Commission on May 1, 2025, and to have the Interim Commissioner of the Parks and Recreation Department enter into all contracts, agreements, or documents and execute any and all instruments as may be necessary.

A vote to accept for park preservation purposes, a parcel in Downtown Boston which is known as Union Park as follows: The Parks and Recreation Commission, on behalf of the City of Boston, for the purposes of providing a park in accordance with Article 97 of the Amendments to the Massachusetts Constitution, hereby authorizes the acceptance, inclusive of trees and structures standing upon and affixed thereto in accordance with a deed of a parcel of open land at Congress Street in the Downtown Boston neighborhood (a/k/a “Union Park”), consisting of 21,059 square feet (0.48 acres) of land identified in the records of the Assessing Department as Parcel 0302617000 and recorded at the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds at Book 7600, Page 003, being transferred from the Boston Redevelopment Authority in accordance with the agreement entitled “License, Maintenance and Indemnification Agreement By and Among Boston Redevelopment Authority, City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department and Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston, Inc.” entered into on August 19, 2014, to be recorded at Suffolk County Registry of Deeds, and to have the Interim Commissioner of the Parks and Recreation Department enter into all contracts, agreements, or documents and execute any and all instruments as may be necessary.
