Tree Removal Hearing: Fenway
In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 87, the Boston Parks and Recreation Department will hold a virtual public hearing on a request to remove one (1) public shade tree at 112 Queensberry Street, Fenway.

The request is for the removal of one (1) public shade tree located at 112 Queensberry St, Fenway, in order to facilitate the utility and drainage improvements, sidewalk and curb, and new residential driveway needed for the proposed 6 story new construction which consists of 24 units of affordable housing. It will require the removal and replacement of the following Public Shade Tree:
- One (1) Elm tree measuring 8 inches DBH (Diameter at Breast Height).
The hearing will be held by the City of Boston’s Tree Warden (or designee) remotely on Thursday, October 1st, 2026, at 10 a.m. via Zoom.

Public comments, questions or objections to the removal of these trees must be submitted in writing prior to or during the hearing to the Tree Warden, Boston Parks and Recreation Department, 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, 3rd floor, Roxbury, MA 02118 or by emailing trees@boston.gov with “Queensberry Street Tree Hearing” in the subject line.
