    0709 Message and order approving a Home Rule Petition to the General Court entitled “Petition for a Special Law Re: An Act Relative to a Certain Parcel of Conservation Land in the City of Boston".

    0710 Message and order approving a supplemental appropriation order for the Boston Public Health Commission for FY18 in the amount of Six Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Two Dollars ($6,252.00) to cover the FY18 cost items contained within the collective bargaining agreements between the Boston Health Commission and the Firemen and Oilers, Local 3, SEIU. The terms of the contract are October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017 and October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2020. The major provisions of the contract include base wage increases of 2% effective the first pay period of January of each fiscal year. The agreements also contain other benefits including a new step beginning in 2019.

    0711 Message and order approving an order to reduce the FY18 appropriation for the Reserve for Collective Bargaining by Six Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Two Dollars ($6,252.00) to provide funding for the Boston Public Health Commission for the FY18 increases contained with the collective bargaining agreements between the Boston Public Health Commission and the Firemen Oilers , Local 3, SEIU.

    0712 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston Parks and Recreation Department to accept and expend a grant of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.00) from the United States Department of the Interior under the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) Act of 1965 PUB. L. 88-578) for the purposes of making capital improvements to Reservation Road Park in Hyde Park and to dedicate such park to park and playground purposes.

    0713 Message and order authorizing the Office of Arts and Culture to accept and expend a grant of Three Hundred Thirty Two Thousand Three Hundred Thirty Dollars ($332,330.00) from the Boston Redevelopment Authority. The grant will fund Boston Artists in Residence programming throughout the City.

    0714 Message and order authorizing the Office of Arts and Culture to accept and expend a grant of Two Hundred Thirty Five Thousand Eleven Dollars ($235,011.00) from the Boston Redevelopment Authority. The grant will fund the Boston Cultural Council grants to individual artists.

    0715 Message and order authorizing the Office of Arts and Culture to accept and expend a grant of One Hundred Twenty Three Thousand Eleven Dollars ($123,011.00) from the Boston Redevelopment Authority. The grant will fund the Boston Artist Resource Manager as a single point of contact for creative people seeking information about issues that include permitting, licensing, affordable housing and financial literacy.
