City Council Committee on Government Operations Working Session on Dockets #1148 and #1149

Docket #1148, message disapproving an ordinance amending Chapter 2 of the City of Boston Code, Ordinances, Regarding Lobbyist Registration and Regulation (Docket #0987).  Along with this veto is a redrafted ordinance regarding lobbyist registration and regulation, sponsored by Mayor Martin J. Walsh and referred to Committee on August 1, 2018; and,

Docket #1149, message and order approving a petition for a special law re: “An Act to Regulate Lobbying Activities before the City of Boston,” sponsored by Mayor Martin J. Walsh, and referred to the Committee on August 1, 2018.

NOTICE:  The Boston City Council may have a quorum in attendance due to standing committees of the City Council consisting of both voting and non-voting members.  However, members attending this duly posted meeting are participating and deliberating only in conjunction with the business of the standing committee.
