    Message and order approving a supplemental appropriation of Eighteen Million Two Hundred Twelve Thousand Six Hundred Thirty Dollars ($18,212,630.00) to cover the FY19 cost items contained within the collective bargaining agreements between the City of Boston and the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF), Local 718. The terms of the contracts are July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018 and July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2021. The major provisions of the contracts include base wages increases of 2% effective the first pay period of July of each fiscal year. The agreements also include increases to night differential, hazardous duty compensation, EMT specialist pay, and modified wellness differential.

    Message and order to reduce the FY19 appropriation for the Reserve for Collective bargaining by Eighteen Million Two Hundred Twelve Thousand Six Hundred Thirty Dollars ($18,212,630.00) to provide funding for the Boston Fire Department for FY19 increases contained within the collective bargaining agreement between the City of Boston and the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF), Local 718.

    These matters were sponsored by Mayor Martin J. Walsh, and referred to the Committee on November 28, 2018.
