Community meeting for proposed Dorchester medical marijuana center

There will be a community outreach meeting for NS AJO Holdings Inc. on July 17 at 6 p.m.

The public can offer testimony.

    The purpose of this Community Outreach meeting is to inform the public that NS AJO Holdings Inc. is seeking state approval to move its Medical Marijuana Treatment Center Provisional Certificate of Registration from Fitchburg to its facility located at 50 Clapp Street in Dorchester.  Community members will be permitted, and are encouraged, to ask questions and receive answers from representatives of NS AJO Holdings, Inc.

    A copy of this notice is on file with the City Clerk’s office, the Boston Planning and Development Agency, the Mayor’s office, the Office of Emerging Industries, and the City Law Department, and a notice of the public hearing was published in a newspaper of general circulation and mailed at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the community outreach meeting to abutters of the proposed address of the proposed Medical Marijuana Treatment Center, owners of land directly opposite on any public or private street or way, and abutters to the abutters within three hundred (300) feet of the property line of the petitioner as they appear on the most recent applicable tax list, notwithstanding that the land of any such owner is located in another city or town.
