South Boston Coffee Hour
Join Mayor Michelle Wu and City Staff for coffee and conversation!
Mayor Wu’s Neighborhood Coffee Hours are a unique opportunity to speak directly with the Mayor and staff from City departments about open space and their neighborhoods. If there are inclement weather conditions, the time and location may change to an indoor location and will be reflected on boston.gov/events.
A neighborhood staple known for bringing the community together over a cup of coffee, Dunkin’ is back to fuel the conversation with iced coffee and donuts. Dunkin’ will also provide lawn game activities for attendees, gift card giveaways, and the opportunity for residents to win a raffle prize. Free flowering plants will be provided by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department and fresh fruit will be provided by Star Market, while supplies last.
South Boston: 567-567R E Sixth Street Abutters Meeting
Demolish existing 1-story garage on separate permit and erect a new 3-story, 5-unit residential building with balconies and off-street parking.
Revised proposal: Updated the plans to show the existing driveway on the right side of the property. Moved the building to provide a 3-foot setback from the left side property line at the front of the lot, eliminating the need for side yard zoning relief.

Moakley Park Bike Scavenger Hunt (for Youth ages 13-19)

Are you between 13 and 19 years old? Join Umass Urban Scholars and Boston Bikes for bike scavenger hunt and other activities!
Upperclassman of Umass Urban Scholars program in collaboration with Boston Bikes team are hosting a community bike event for Youth ages 13-19. The event includes an on-bike scavenger hunt, sand castle competitions, beach volleyball, sport activities like volleyball, as well as snacks and giveaways.
If you are joining for on-bike activities and do not have a bike, please know that limited bikes will be available for registered attendees. Registration link below!
