Woodcliff & Letterfine Open Space

The City of Boston acting by and through its Public Facilities Commission by the Director of the Mayor's Office of Housing, Director's Office Division, sells tax foreclosed or surplus municipal property to buyers who agree to invest in the rehabilitation of the property.

The Grassroots Open Space Program makes land available specifically for the development of open space projects such as community gardens, urban farms, and passive open space.

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified nonprofit organizations or other entities for development of the parcels as open space. The property is being offered As Is, with up to $150,000 in possible funding available from the Grassroots Program.

1 Letterfine Terrace (Ward 13, Assessor's Parcel 00602000), 2 Letterfine Terrace (Ward 13, Assessor's Parcel 00596000), 5 Letterfine Terrace (Ward 13, Assessor's Parcel 00601000), 6 Letterfine Terrace (Ward 13, Assessor's Parcel 00597000), 10 Letterfine Terrace (Ward 13, Assessor's Parcel 00598000), 14 Letterfine Terrace (Ward 13, Assessor's Parcel 00599000), 78 Woodcliff Street (Ward 13, Assessor's Parcel 00589000), one unnumbered Letterfine Terrace parcel (Ward 13, Assessor's Parcel 00600000), one unnumbered Woodledge St. parcel (Ward 13, Assessor's Parcel 00569000), two unnumbered Sargent St. parcels (Ward 13, Assessor's Parcel 00628000 and 00630000), and three unnumbered Woodcliff St. parcels (Ward 13, Assessor's Parcel 00591000, 00588000, and 00587000), Roxbury, MA, totaling approximately 57,466 square feet

The RFP package will be available on February 20, 2024 at 9:00 am, and can be downloaded by registering at https://www.boston.gov/departments/housing/requests-proposals. A virtual Applicant Conference will be held on March 7, 2024. The link and other details can be found at www.boston.gov/growboston.
