Annual African-American Veterans Appreciation Brunch

We will honor our African-American veterans by listening to their voices, their words, and their experiences.

The event is hosted by Mayor Walsh and the Office of Veterans Services. This year, we will be using more of a Town Hall style. We will hear stories from veterans that served in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War, and after the attacks on September 11. These stories will focus on:

  • life after the military
  • civil service
  • engaging military posts
  • veterans organizations, and
  • so much more!

We will also be honoring three deserving veterans with Community and Outstanding Service awards.
