Communication was received from Council President Michelle Wu calling for the election of the City Clerk for a term commencing on February 3, 2016 and ending on February 1, 2019. President Wu called for nominations for position of the City Clerk. Councilor Baker moved to nominate Maureen E. Feeney. President Wu asked for any further nominations hearing none. Motion Prevailed. On motion of President Wu, a roll was called with the following result. For Maureen E. Feeney- Councilor Baker, Campbell, Ciommo, Essaibi-George, Flaherty, Jackson, LaMattina, Linehan, McCarthy, O’Malley, Pressley, Wu, Zakim-13. Maureen E. Feeney, having received thirteen unanimous votes, was declared elected City Clerk for a term commencing February 3, 2016.
