Tech and Marketing: CEF 201
Our goal is to expand high-quality early education and care across Boston by helping FCC providers sustain and grow their business. The Childcare Entrepreneur Fund 201 will help FCC providers continue to meet the needs of Boston's children and families. Selected applicants will receive grant funding, coaching, and marketing and communications training.
In six workshops, participants will learn how to build their own website with WIX. Topics include:
- Know Your Business
- Using WIX to Build Your Website
- Taking Good Photos for Your Website
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Google My Business
- Evaluating the Effectiveness of Your Website
To date, we had 44 Child care providers participate in this program. All 44 providers built a business website to promote and expand their business. Providers can create a website that best reflects their program by identifying the services they provide and the characteristics that make them stand out. This also makes it easier for families to find care that better suits their needs.
If you have taken the business workshop series and want to take a deeper dive into marketing your business apply today.
The Fund’s current round will award grantees a $2,500 grant and business support. Grantees will attend six virtual workshops. Participants must have received a Childcare Entrepreneur Fund Grant in the past and be willing to purchase a paid subscription to WIX for the first year.
