Food Initiatives

Food Initiatives

We work to ensure that Boston has a robust, resilient food system and that all Bostonians have adequate access to fresh, healthy food.

Our office works to make healthy food more available and more affordable in Boston. Through the Boston Bounty Bucks program, we work improve food security for low income residents at Boston farmers markets. We also support a sustainable food environment through increased urban farming and public composting.
