City of Boston HUD Five-Year Consolidated Plan

The City of Boston is developing a five-year Consolidated Plan for an estimated $143 million in funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).  

The City of Boston wants to hear your thoughts about its new Consolidated Plan. The Plan will identify needs and priorities for an estimated $143 million in funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The funds may be invested in housing, homeless assistance and community development programs that serve low- to moderate-income residents over a 5-year period from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2029 through these HUD programs:

  • Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 
  • HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) 
  • Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)
  • Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA)
