Our City has many small and local businesses that contribute to our economic and cultural diversity. They also employing more than 170,000 Boston residents. By taking part in Made in Boston, businesses gain access to resources that help them and the City. Together, we're creating more gainful employment and boosting our local economy.

Join Made in Boston
You must meet all of the requirements below to take part in Made in Boston.
- Your company must occupy industrial or commercial or studio space in Boston.
- Your company must employ one full-time employee or equivalent (business owners count as a full-time employee).
- For producing companies: at least 25% of your company’s design, production, assembly, or finishing must occur in Boston.
- For service-providing companies: you must have contracts with businesses.
- The Boston address of your business needs to be used on your letterhead, business cards, product labeling, promotional, and marketing materials.
- You must complete a Boston Business Certificate at the City Clerk's Office, or the Artist Certification.
Your application must be completed with the approval of a senior manager at your company.
