Our Vision for Blossom Street
  • Pedestrian safety and accessibility: rebuild accessible sidewalks and safer crosswalks
  • Attractive, resilient streetscape: upgrade street lighting, add stormwater management features, and remove the decaying concrete median
  • Connected bicycle network: create a high-comfort connection between the West End and the Charles River path system.
  • Effective traffic management: balance the roadway width to match current traffic volumes while keeping capacity where it’s most needed.
  • Parking and curb use: maximize parking and maintain space for employee shuttles and deliveries
