Boston Compost Certification Program
1 CITY HALL SQUARE
BOSTON, MA 02201-2024
The City of Boston is partnering with:
- Mass Audubon
- Charlestown CORe Facility
- Urban Farming Institute, and
- the Arnold Arboretum.
Our goal is to teach residents about all things compost in Boston.
This five-day training series is held weekly from April to June. Participants will learn about the impact of food waste on the environment and its connection to climate change. Each module will include practical knowledge, hands-on activities, and guest speakers.
We will provide materials and tools for participants as well as opportunities to support community composting projects through optional volunteer events. Be the first to take part in the Boston Compost Certification Program. You'll become a compost champion for the City of Boston!
Every participant will receive a special gift bag to get started on their compost journey.
