Boston Community Health Needs Assessment Survey
The Boston Community Health Needs Assessment Survey is officially closed!
Thank you to the Boston residents and community partners who shared their voices and insights on the health of Boston residents. Survey findings will be shared in Summer 2025
About the Survey:
The Boston Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) Survey was an important initiative conducted to identify the strengths, challenges, and public health priorities for Boston residents. Led by the Boston Community Health Collaborative, this multi-sector partnership included nonprofit teaching hospitals, community health centers, public health organizations, and other local stakeholders. The Boston Public Health Commission served as the central coordinating agency for the effort.
The survey was designed to gather input from residents about their health needs and challenges. The results will inform health plans, funding priorities, and resources to support public health across Boston.
Survey Highlights:
- The survey asked Boston residents about health priorities, access to care, and availability of physical and mental health resources.
- Participants provided valuable feedback on their community’s strengths and challenges in areas such as healthcare access, social support, and wellness.
- The survey helped guide the allocation of resources and funding to improve public health in Boston.
- A raffle with prizes, including $100 grocery gift cards, museum passes, and family-friendly experiences, was offered to participants as a token of appreciation.
- The survey ran during Fall 2024 to Winter 2025 and was a key part of shaping public health efforts for a healthier Boston.
Thank you for your partnership and support!
