Combining Halloween festivities with an all-women line-up of DJs, artists and entertainers, BBP centers the rich cultural contributions of women to Boston's creative community.
It's going down this October at Chez Vous, and we’re throwing a massive Halloween party + concert to celebrate the women who’ve been running the scene! 🖤

Hosted by HellaBlack LLC and supported by the Wake Up the Night Grant
HBT, in collaboration with The Mix, will hold a free Trivia Night for the community (Trivia is usually a paid, ticketed affair), generously sponsored by The City of Boston and the Wake Up the Night Grant.
Hella Black Trivia is an event that is more like a game show, with music, dancing, comedy, and team/community-building elements. All crowd members will be actively engaged.
Columbia Road Transportation Action Plan Open House
Join the Boston Transportation Department on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at the Strand Theatre for an open house to help shape the future of Columbia Road!
We invite you to share your thoughts on improving street safety, expanding green spaces, and enhancing travel along Columbia Road. Your feedback is vital in ensuring this project meets the needs of the community.
The event will feature interactive activities to gather your input, information on green infrastructure and existing conditions, updates on the Early Action Project, and insights from the community. You'll also have the opportunity to discuss your ideas with city staff and project team members.
Food will be provided, and interpretation services will be available in Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
