Concerts at Fenway Park, ceremonies observing September 11, and neighborhood events will impact traffic and parking in Boston

Concerts at Fenway Park, ceremonies observing September 11, and other scheduled activities will impact traffic and parking in Boston from Friday, September 9, through Sunday, September 11, 2016.

Concerts at Fenway Park

“Tow Zone No Stopping, Boston Police Special Event Friday and Saturday, 2 PM to 11:59 PM” temporary parking restrictions will be in effect at the following locations:

  • Brookline Avenue, Both sides from Overland Street to Lansdowne Street
  • Overland Street, South side/even side, from Brookline Avenue to Yawkey Way Ext
  • Boylston Street, South side from opposite Ipswich Street to Brookline Avenue
  • Lansdowne Street, Both sides, from Brookline Avenue to Ipswich Street
  • Ipswich Street, Fenway Park side, from Lansdowne Street to Boylston Street
  • Van Ness Street, Both sides, from Ipswich Street to Kilmarnock Street
  • Yawkey Way, Both sides, from Van Ness Street to Brookline Avenue
  • Richard B. Ross Way, Both sides, from Van Ness Street to Boylston Street.

“Tow Zone No Parking, Reserved for HP-DV Parking ONLY Friday & Saturday” temporary parking restrictions will be in effect at the following locations:

  • Boylston Street, North side, from Ipswich Street, near Fenway Park to Kilmarnock Street
  • Yawkey Way, Both sides, from Boylston Street to Van Ness Street
  • Overland Street, North side/odd side, from Brookline Avenue to Yawkey Way Extension.

September 11 Observances

“Tow Zone No Stopping, Boston Police Special Event Sunday” temporary parking restrictions will be in effect at the following locations:

  • Yawkey Way, Both sides, from Van Ness Street to Brookline Avenue
  • Van Ness Street, South side/opposite Fenway Park, from Yawkey Way heading east to the first driveway
  • Van Ness Street, Both sides, from Yawkey Way heading west to the first two street lights on the south side.

“Tow Zone No Stopping, Boston Police Special Event Sunday” temporary parking restrictions will be in effect at the following location:

  • Arlington Street, Public Garden side, from Beacon Street to Boylston Street.

Neighborhood Activities

Vehicles will be excluded from local streets as follows.

Saturday, September 10:

2 – 8 PM, from #43 to #61 Langley Road, Brighton

4 – 8 PM, Nonantum Street, Brighton, from Lettia Way to Washington Street

2 – 6 PM, Callender Street, Dorchester, from Carlos Street to Don Street

10 AM – 1 PM, Sedgwick Street, Jamaica Plain, from Elm Street to South Street

2:30 – 8 PM, Johnswood Road, Roslindale, from #30 to #50 Johnswood Road

8 AM – 6 PM, Oscar Street, Roxbury Crossing, from Terrace Avenue to Parker Street

11 AM – 8 PM, East Fourth Street, South Boston, from P Street to Farragut Road.

Sunday, September 11:

12 PM – 6 PM, Soley Street, Charlestown, from #36 to #24 Soley Street

2:30 - 8 PM, Johnswood Road, Roslindale, from #30 - #50 Johnswood Road (RAIN DATE)
