Aberdeen Architectural Conservation District Commission

The Aberdeen Architectural Conservation District Commission will hold its monthly public hearing online on May 14, 2020, at 4 p.m.

ATTENTION: This hearing will only be held virtually and NOT in person. You can participate in this hearing by going to our Zoom meeting or calling 1-929-205-6099 and entering id # 886 1931 3230 and password 597973. You can also submit written comments or questions to AberdeenACDC@boston.gov or via Twitter @bostonlandmarks.

    APP # 19.1403 AB        24 Selkirk Road Proposed Work: At Front and side elevations replace wood sidewall shingles in kind, construct a 2 ½ floor addition at rear of structure.

    APP # 18.1162 AB         1962 Beacon Street Proposed Work: Update original storefront plan after remnants of original storefront have been discovered under non-historic storefront.

    APP # 20.1005 AB       2000 Commonwealth Avenue Proposed Work: At roof level of a non-contributing building, raise antennas by three feet; remove mounting frame from the penthouse and install a new ballast mount frame on the roof of the building; transfer the existing antennas to the new frame; and collocate three (3) new panel antennas The new panel antennas will be painted to match the color of the surface to which they are attached.

    APP # 20.1006 AB  1984, 1986, 1988, 1990 Commonwealth Avenue Proposed Work: Replace asphalt walkway with flagstone pavers and cobblestone edging, rebuild steps at four different entrances. Install new hand rails, replace existing landscape flood lighting, and install 6 new lighting bollards.
