Approved Gravel Vendor List

You can find a list of vendors below that have been approved, as of August 21, 2025, to sell gravel within the City of Boston.

The gravel will be used for:

  1. backfilling utility excavations, and
  2. roadway and sidewalk construction projects.

This list is subject to change if a particular vendor fails future testing. Vendors are required to be re-approved annually. Any vendor not on this list that would like to sell or provide their gravel must pass the City's Quality Control Testing. You can find the list of required mix specifications.
