Help Boston Common Glow For The Holidays
With your support, more than 60,000 lights will illuminate Boston Common with another 25,000 in the Public Garden.
We need your help to ensure one of the city’s most beloved traditions continues: illuminating the trees and buildings on Boston Common.
95% of the funding is from corporate and private donors.
Your support will directly impact the number of trees and buildings we can light, helping us reach our fundraising goal of $375,000. We hope to illuminate the canopy of 60 trees and Boston Common buildings with LED string lights. We will also mount large-scale LED snowflakes on poles along the Mayor's Walk and at the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument.
The number of trees to be lit is dependent upon the funds raised by November 26. We will welcome donations after this date.
